We know how critical the Maritime Law Enforcement and Naval Warfare communities are to the safety and security of those on shore and feel a need to directly support those efforts. Our purpose is to provide current news, editorials, and equipment reviews relevant to all law enforcement, military, and security officers operating on any body of water in this country, and throughout the world.

MARSEC4 also provides insight, advice, and planning tips that could serve you well in your personal life. We live in uncertain times and it is our belief that preparation is key to survival. We all work for companies, organizations, and agencies that have plans in place regarding emergency management… but what about you?

Originally launched as 14USC89.com, we grew to become the primary source for the Maritime Law Enforcement Officer (MLEO) to visit and keep updated in current events. MARSEC4 matches that goal and expands the mission objective, something that we feel will benefit our readers. The ultimate goal is to make this website promulgate the law enforcement and training program that your organization doesn’t have the guts to implement.

Current contributors to the site include five members of the community (pictured above), who decided to contribute after identifying a major flaw in the reporting of events that take place within our nations maritime boundaries and the world’s oceans. Together, they have over 60 years of experience in advanced maritime tactics, weapons handling, security & surveillance, defensive tactics, emergency and crisis intervention, and disaster management. MARSEC4 serves as a culmination of this collective knowledge and offers that information to you.

So Jack Murphy, Bill Janson and I were talking about our love of all things gear and guns and how we wanted to create a hard core site that featured our favorite guns and gear.
